Bombshell Senate Report Shows COVID-19 Originated in Chinese Lab

The Sars-Cov-2 virus responsible for COVID-19 was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology, according to a report published on April 17 by the Senate Health Committee.

According to the 301-page report, the “preponderance of information supports the plausibility of an unintentional research-related incident that likely resulted from failures of biosafety containment during SARS-CoV-2 vaccine-related research.”

The report has more than 1,500 citations to support the legitimacy of the lab leak theory and other findings.

Sen. Marshall said on Fox News’ “Mornings with Maria” Tuesday that a “preponderance of evidence” points to two lab leaks in China as the cause of the global pandemic.

“This is big,” Sen. Marshall said. “It is a bombshell that the preponderance of evidence shows that there were two lab leaks. If we had a scale in front of us and we put all the evidence on one side that supports a natural spillover, the other for the lab origin of this, I think that 95% of that evidence is on the lab origin.”

According to Marshall, the first leak is estimated to have occurred around September 2019 in the Wuhan laboratory.

“The first one occurring probably somewhere around the September timeframe in a Wuhan laboratory, an unintentional lab leak sometime in September of 2019,” he said. “The Chinese then begin vaccine research. And we think that is when this epidemic, which became a pandemic, actually exploded.”

Marshall suggests the Chinese were developing a vaccine in the same lab and accidentally released an aerosol, or a lab worker walked out with this “very, very contagious virus.”

The report also revealed the virus was sophistically developed and artificially engineered through gain-of-function research to make it more transmissible and deadly to humans.

Marshall explained:

“This virus was just too perfect. When it came out of that laboratory, [it] was too perfect. It fit like a key into a lock into human lung cells. Additionally, you had a segment called a furin cleavage site that had another spot, it looks like they sliced it out of the HIV virus. They put that right next to the furin cleavage site. Look, this is just too perfect of a virus.”

While the White House and top health officials have denied the virus came from a lab since the beginning, the Department of Energy and FBI Director Christopher Wray recently suggested the theory may be true. China has denounced any culpability and is preventing investigations into the lab.
