Doctors across the country are having difficulty getting pharmacies to fill their prescriptions for ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine — two inexpensive and highly effective drugs used to treat early COVID. But Dr. Brian Tyson, a family medicine doctor and early COVID treatment expert, didn’t take “no” for an answer.
Tyson retained a lawyer (same last name, but no relation) who drafted a letter to a CVS pharmacy educating them on ivermectin and informing the pharmacy that choosing not a fulfill a prescription is illegal, violates the civil rights of patients, interferes with the practice of medicine and constitutes the “unlicensed and negligent practice of medicine by CVS.”
The CVS pharmacy did a quick about-face when they realized Tyson was serious about filing a lawsuit if they didn’t fulfill his prescriptions. Below is a copy of the letter his attorney sent to the pharmacy.
